Job summary

CLARK'S in Ellesmere Port is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Cheshire Oaks to support the Store Manager in running the store and leading the sales team to hit commercial targets.

You'll influence customers with strong selling skills, coach colleagues, and ensure excellent visual merchandising and store standards. The role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on delivering a welcoming shopping experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• Proven retail management experience with team leadership.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient with in-store IT systems and Visual Merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate selling behaviours and lead the sales team to meet KPIs.
• Deputise Store Manager when required.
• Coach and develop team to hit sales targets and KPIs.
• Oversee sales floor and maintain great store environment.
• Utilise CSAT insights to improve customer experience.
• Support in store operations and Visual Merchandising standards.
• Upskill on products to drive sales.
• Organise and prioritise tasks to balance sales and service.
• Provide regular feedback to motivate the team.
• Assist in people issues and store management in the absence of the store manager.
