Job summary

Clarks in Newbury is seeking a confident, hands-on Store Supervisor who can support the Store Manager to run all aspects of store operations and lead the sales team to meet commercial targets. You will oversee the sales floor, coach and develop colleagues, manage customer experience using CSAT insights, and ensure visual merchandising standards.

The role requires practical leadership, strong communication, and passion for retail excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven retail management experience with target delivery.
• Strong coaching and team development skills.
• Clear communicator who guides individuals and teams.
• Able to motivate store teams and balance results with a welcoming environment.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising or store operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent selling behaviours and lead the sales team to deliver personal KPIs.
• Support the Store Manager to engage, coach and develop the team to hit sales targets and KPIs.
• Oversee the sales floor and apply Floor Control to maintain a great shopping environment.
• Utilise CSAT insights to identify actions improving customer experience and store operations.
• Support delivery of store operations and Visual Merchandising to meet best-practice standards.
