Mitie Group plc. seeks a Retail Elite Security Officer to support the Total Security Management Team in Portsmouth. You will cover varied shift patterns and locations, providing a visible security presence while delivering exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have retail security experience, a frontline guarding license, and a flexible approach to work with strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Driving licence is a benefit.

Qualifications

• Retail security experience is essential.
• Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding License is essential; CCTV Licence is beneficial.
• Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Protect customers and colleagues from abuse with a professional security presence.
• Provide highly visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.
• Deter and prevent anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity.
• Liaise with store management, police and external agencies when required.
• Utilise conflict resolution to diffuse difficult workplace situations.
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing concerns are identified and addressed per policy.
