Job summary

Staffline seeks an Elite Retail Security Officer in Oxford. The role demands a highly professional individual with proven retail security, loss prevention, and customer-service skills.

You will protect people, stock, and assets while proactively preventing theft and shrinkage across multiple sites. A valid SIA SG/DS licence and a driving licence are essential, with 3+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• SIA SG or DS licence is required.
• Minimum 3 years' retail security experience required.
• Experience in loss prevention and store protection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a highly visible security presence to protect colleagues, customers, stock, and company assets
• Identify and prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss
• Support the delivery of store loss prevention strategies and shrinkage reduction
• Monitor and respond to suspicious activity and security incidents
• Conduct investigations and gather information related to theft and loss incidents
• Produce incident reports using digital reporting systems
• Build relationships with store management and retail teams
• Ensure site security procedures and client requirements are followed
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and fire evacuations
• Conduct staff and contractor searches when required and authorised
• Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and customer service at all times
