Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Retail Elite Security Officer to join the Total Security Management Team in a role offering flexible locations and shift patterns. The position pays £12.71 per hour, with free parking and paid breaks.

Responsibilities include maintaining a professional security presence, deterring crime, supporting customers, and coordinating with store management and external agencies as needed. A Full UK Driving licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Retail security experience.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work flexibly across locations and shifts.
• Capable in the use of technology for security duties.
• Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential, CCTV Licence would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• To protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse with a professional security presence.
• Provide a highly visible security presence that is easily identified by customers and colleagues, while delivering excellent customer service.
• Proactively deter and prevent anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity.
• Liaise with store management, Police and external agencies as required.
• Use conflict resolution to diffuse difficult situations and ensure safety and wellbeing.
