Job summary

Kent Students’ Union is recruiting a Retail Duty Manager for its Coop Franchise store on the Plaza. The role requires leading a team, managing stock and cash, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a busy retail environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operation, work well in a team or independently, and be able to deliver high standards of service across a seven-day rota. Full-time role with extensive holiday provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy commercial and customer-focused organisation.
• Proven ability to manage teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Experience in a retail/food-to-go environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Coop Franchise store operations on the Plaza.
• Motivate and manage staff, stock, cash, health and safety.
• Ensure security of building and its contents.
