Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will help customers, stock shelves, and process payments while maintaining the store’s appearance and safety.

You’ll also contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and assist across tills, online orders, and stock routines. You will support ongoing customer feedback initiatives, training, and community events, while following Think 25 and store policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail is helpful.
• Able to work across tills, online, replenishment and stock routines.
• Commitment to safety, store policies and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with passion and pride, delivering high quality service.
• Encourage customer feedback by guiding Have Your Say surveys.
• Assist across all store areas to meet customer needs (tills, replenishment, online, vending, stock).
• Apply training to work safely and comply with procedures.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Be aware of store performance and contribute to delivering profit.
• Follow company policies and clock in/out accurately for correct pay.
• Follow Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
• Respond quickly to assistance requests at self-checkouts and service areas.
• Keep aisles clear, shop floor tidy, and maintain a safe environment.
• May run the shift in absence of a Shift Leader or Store Manager.
• Post Office Local duties may apply where relevant and checks may be required.
