Job summary

One Stop in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join a fast-paced retail team. You will focus on delivering excellent service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and keeping the store looking welcoming.

You will support daily store operations, respond to customer needs, follow safety policies, clock in/out for correct pay, and participate in seasonal or community events. This role may involve duties across tills, replenishment and other store tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and shop floor safety.
• Experience handling cash and processing payments.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Stock shelves, process payments and maintain store appearance.
• Contribute to on-the-job coaching and feedback to improve service.
• Follow safety training and work safely at all times.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Be aware of store performance and how you contribute to profit.
• Follow company policies and think 25 when serving age-restricted products.
• Clock in and out to ensure accurate pay; maintain store security procedures.
• Keep aisles clear and the store clean and organized.
• May run the shift in the absence of senior staff.
• If the store has a Post Office Local, pass the background check required for the role.
