Job summary

Tesco One Stop in Swindon is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join the team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store's appearance.

You will support day-to-day operations across tills, replenishment and other store areas, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You may participate in Post Office Local duties and must pass required background checks if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers on the shop floor.
• Stock shelves and keep store visually tidy and organized.
• Process payments at tills and support quick checkouts.
• Assist across all store areas (online, tills, replenishment, vending, stock routines).
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate equipment.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to foster an inclusive atmosphere.
• Adhere to Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
• Respond promptly to assistance calls or interventions on self-service checkouts.
