Job summary

Tesco’s One Stop division is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will focus on delivering great customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and contributing to the store’s appearance and efficiency.

As part of the team, you will engage with customers, follow safety protocols, and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment. You may also participate in shifts and support post office duties where applicable.

Qualifications

• Provides excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Maintains store appearance and shelf stocking.
• Handles payments accurately at the till and checkout.
• Works across store areas to meet customer needs.
• Adheres to safety policies and Think 25 for restricted items.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with inquiries.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Process payments at tills and assist with checkouts.
• Assist across different store areas (online, tills, replenishment, vending, stock routines).
• Follow safety procedures and training to keep yourself and others safe.
