Job summary

One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail setting where no day is the same.

You will support customer service, stock shelves, process payments, and help maintain the store’s appearance while embracing coaching to improve service. You may also cover Post Office Local duties and required background checks where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Stock shelves and ensure displays are tidy and well-presented.
• Process payments accurately at tills and handle cash if required.
• Assist with daily store operations to maintain cleanliness and stock routines.
• Act on coaching and feedback to driving service improvements in-store.
• Clock in/out at start and end of shift to ensure accurate pay.
• Support across store areas (online orders, tills, replenishment, vending) as needed.
• If the store has a Post Office Local, undertake daily Post Office operations and pass required background checks.
