Job summary

Tesco’s One Stop store is hiring a Customer Service Assistant to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be at the heart of daily store operations, delivering friendly service, stocking shelves, handling payments, and assisting with upkeep of the store’s appearance.

You will engage with customers, participate in on-the-job coaching, and help maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment for everyone, including covering shifts and supporting post office duties where applicable.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the till and across store areas.
• Stock shelves and maintain store appearance.
• Process payments accurately and help with stock replenishment and store operations.
• Support customers with enquiries and feedback to improve service.
• Follow safety, security, and store policies during all shifts.
• Be flexible to cover shifts and assist with post office operations if applicable.
