Job summary

Tesco One Stop is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our store team in a busy retail environment where no day is the same. You will provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store's appearance.

You will engage with customers, act on feedback, work across all store areas, and help keep the store safe and welcoming. Follow training and policies to ensure a positive shopping experience for all.

Responsibilities

• I know my customers and serving them with passion and pride, giving great natural service.
• I actively encourage customers to give feedback through the 'have your say' survey.
• I work across all store areas including online, the tills, replenishment and stock routines.
• Putting training into practice to ensure we work safely.
• Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
• Being knowledgeable about store performance and our shared goals.
• Being myself, living our values and making everyone feel welcome.
• Ensuring I clock in and out to be paid accurately for hours worked.
• I keep myself, colleagues and customers safe by following security procedures.
• Responding quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts.
• I work in a clean, tidy and organized manner keeping aisles clear.
• When needed I may run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader and Store Manager.
• I follow all training to keep myself and others safe and legal.
• If the store has a Post Office Local, duties include day-to-day operations and background checks.
