Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time in-store cleaner for Sainsbury's Southend. The role offers 12 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.71 with immediate start and on-site work in a busy supermarket environment.

You'll join a team responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards across the store, with training provided. Flexible shifts including mornings and weekends are available; overtime may increase hours.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Smartphone with NFC capability is required to access the Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to maintain high store cleanliness standards.
• Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings and windows when required.
• Keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves/debris when outside stores.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Southend store on a permanent basis. 12 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 08:00 to 10:00

Monday: 05:00 to 07:00

Tuesday: 05:00 to 07:00

Wednesday: 05:00 to 07:00

Thursday: 05:00 to 07:00

Friday: 05:00 to 07:00

Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training
