Job summary

Arcus FM is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's at Pinhoe Road. The role is permanent, 23 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.71 and an immediate start. Shifts span early morning to evening, including weekends, with potential overtime to increase hours.

Training will be provided to ensure high standards of cleanliness. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, operate machinery, and maintain a safe, clean store environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial
• Eye for detail and cleanliness
• Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
• Must provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access Arcus Connect App

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and equipment
• Carry out cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows and ovens when required
• Tidy trolley bays outside, removing leaves and debris
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Pinhoe Road store on a permanent basis. 23 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 17:00 to 21:00

Monday: 18:30 to 22:30

Tuesday: 18:30 to 22:30

Wednesday: 18:30 to 22:30

Thursday: 18:30 to 22:30

Friday: 18:30 to 21:30

Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

An eye for detail and cleanliness

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
