Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a part-time In Store Cleaner for a Sainsbury's Torpoint store on a permanent basis. You will work 16 hours per week at £12.71 per hour with an immediate start.

The role offers various shifts including early mornings, with weekend work and potential overtime to increase hours. Arcus cleaners are responsible for keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers, performing daily tasks and operating cleaning machinery.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Carry out thorough cleaning including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• Occasionally clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or ovens canopies in-store.
• Maintain trolley bays and outdoor areas free of leaves and debris.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Torpoint store on a permanent basis. 16 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: Day off

Monday: 06:00 to 08:30

Tuesday: 06:00 to 08:30

Wednesday: 06:00 to 08:30

Thursday: 06:00 to 08:30

Friday: 06:00 to 08:30

Saturday: 06:00 to 09:30

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training
