Job summary

Arcus FM is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury's Lewes Road store. The role is 15 hours per week at £12.71 per hour with immediate start. Overtime may increase hours and flexible shift patterns include early morning to evening across 7 days.

You will be responsible for cleaning duties to maintain high standards, including operating machinery, mopping, vacuuming, and occasional in-store cleaning of toilets and surfaces. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to maintain high standards in Sainsbury's stores
• Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or canopy areas as required
• Keep external areas like trolley bays free of leaves and debris
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and use Arcus Connect App for time records

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Lewes Road store on a permanent basis. 15 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 05:00 to 08:00

Monday: Day off

Tuesday: Day off

Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00

Friday: 05:00 to 08:00

Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
