Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is recruiting an In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Southend, with a 12-hour per week, part-time schedule. Immediate start. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across the store, using cleaning equipment and maintaining high hygiene standards.

A smartphone with NFC access is required for Arcus Connect time and attendance tracking. The role offers a variety of shifts (early morning to evening) with some overtime opportunities and a pro rata holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• You will need a smartphone with NFC to access the Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery.
• Carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies.
• Maintain trolley bays outside and keep them free of leaves and debris.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Southend store on a permanent basis. 12 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 08:00 to 10:00
• Monday: 05:00 to 07:00
• Tuesday: 05:00 to 07:00
• Wednesday: 05:00 to 07:00
• Thursday: 05:00 to 07:00
• Friday: 05:00 to 07:00
• Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
