Do you enjoy working in a customer-focused environment to ensure cleanliness? Do you love working as part of a team to produce sparkling results for customers?

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Sale store on a permanent basis. This role offers 26 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6 day working options. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 06:30 - 17:30
• Monday: 04:30 - 08:30
• Tuesday: 04:30 - 08:30
• Wednesday: 04:30 - 08:30
• Thursday: 04:30 - 08:30
• Friday: Day Off
• Saturday: Day Off

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment in Sainsbury’s supermarkets. Daily tasks include:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies
• Cleaning trolley bays outside, removing leaves and debris
• Applying health and safety procedures

We will support you with full training.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

An eye for detail and cleanliness, a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service.

Note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
