Job summary

Arcus FM is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Newton Abbot store. The role is 12 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with immediate start and overtime opportunities. Shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon and evenings across seven days, with some weekend work.

Training will be provided to support you in performing cleaning duties to the highest standards. You will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, operating cleaning machinery, and maintaining cleanliness and

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to maintain high standards in Sainsbury's stores.
• Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as required.
• Keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are applied.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Newton Abbot store ona permanent basis. 12 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsburys stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 07:00 to 09:00

Monday: 06:00 to 08:00

Tuesday: 06:00 to 08:00

Wednesday: 06:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 06:00 to 08:00

Friday: Day off

Saturday: 06:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsburys supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
