Job summary

Arcus FM is seeking a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury’s East Mayne in Basildon. 17.5 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with immediate start. Shift patterns include early morning, morning, afternoon and evening slots, including weekends. Training is provided and overtime may increase hours.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness to a high standard across store areas, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to maintain high standards in-store.
• Operate cleaning equipment and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies when required.
• Maintain trolley bays outside and keep areas free of leaves and debris.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's East Mayne store on a permanent basis. 17.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 07:00 to 12:00

Monday: 18:00 to 22:30

Tuesday: 06:00 to 08:00

Wednesday: 06:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 06:00 to 08:00

Friday: Day off

Saturday: 06:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
