Job summary

Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Canterbury store on a permanent basis. 15 hours per week at £12.71 per hour with immediate start. Shifts include early morning to evening, Sunday to Saturday, with overtime opportunities.

Arcus cleaners are dedicated to keeping supermarkets clean and safe; you will perform daily cleaning tasks, use cleaning equipment, and follow health and safety procedures to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Must provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery as required.
• Carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies when needed.
• Outdoor duties include keeping trolley bays clean and free of leaves/debris.
• Follow health and safety procedures to maintain store cleanliness and safety.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Canterbury store on a permanent basis. 15 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 13:00 to 18:00

Monday: 05:00 to 10:00

Tuesday: 05:00 to 10:00

Wednesday: Day off

Thursday: Day off

Friday: Day off

Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
