Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Newton Abbot store. The role offers 12 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.71, with immediate start and potential overtime. We provide full training and flexible scheduling across early morning to evening shifts.

Ideal candidates will have an eye for detail, a customer-oriented approach and a positive attitude towards cleaning and service. Smartphone with NFC is required for Arcus Connect time/attendance access.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery
• Carry out cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to keep stores clean
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies
• Occasional outdoor cleaning of trolley bays; keep areas free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Newton Abbot store on a permanent basis. 12 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 07:00 to 09:00
• Monday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Tuesday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Wednesday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Thursday: 06:00 to 08:00
• Friday: Day off
• Saturday: 06:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
