Job summary

Arcus FM is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's Marsh Mills, Plymouth. The role is 19 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with an immediate start and various shifts, including early mornings and weekends.

You may increase hours through overtime and will work to keep the store clean and safe for customers. You will need a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance, a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operating cleaning machinery and perform cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies when required.
• Keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris; follow health and safety procedures.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Marsh Mills store on a permanent basis. 19 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: Day off

Monday: 10:00 to 14:00

Tuesday: 08:30 to 11:30

Wednesday: 08:30 to 11:30

Thursday: 08:30 to 11:30

Friday: 08:30 to 11:30

Saturday: 08:30 to 11:30

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training
