Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a part-time In Store Cleaner at Sainsbury's Westhoughton store. You will join a team to keep the store clean and safe for customers, with duties including daily cleaning tasks and operating cleaning equipment. The role offers 13 hours per week at £12.71 per hour and an immediate start.

Flexible shift patterns are available across mornings and evenings, with weekend work and potential overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and perform daily cleaning tasks.
• Carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• Occasionally clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies in-store.
• Work outside to keep trolley bays free of leaves and debris.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Westhoughton store on a permanent basis. 13 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 05:00 to 09:00

Monday: 05:00 to 08:00

Tuesday: Day off

Wednesday: Day off

Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00

Friday: 05:00 to 08:00

Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
