Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres in West London is recruiting a Retail Branch Manager to launch and lead our new store near Chiswick. You will manage a team of four, drive customer service excellence and develop local sales.

The role includes early opening hours, servicing trade and retail customers, and delivering strong performance through coaching, stock control, and promotion of our painting brands.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a similar retail role
• Experience developing and coaching a team
• Track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Ambitious and proactive about delivering excellent customer service
• Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial

Responsibilities

Managing a team of 4 you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly.

Once opened the store will stock an extensive product range which includes trade and designer paint brands such as Armstead, Crown, Dulux, Farrow & Ball, Little Green, Johnstones, Sadolin as well as our own brand, Albany. We also offer a full product range via our delivery service which runs from the branch. Store opening hours will be Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

To succeed in the role of Retail Branch Manager you will:

• Be able to demonstrate management or supervisory experience in a similar or relevant role
• Have experience of developing a team
• Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Be enthusiastic and proactive about selling and be able to inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer service
• Understand our focus on customer service and other Brewers values
• Have the ability to positively represent the Company to a wide range of customers
• Be able to work on your own initiative
• Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial

• Previous experience in the Decorative Industry would be an advantage not essential, as full will training will be given to the right candidate
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to work as an individual at all times
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire
