Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centre in West London is seeking a Retail Branch Manager to lead a new store. You will manage a team of four, drive customer-focused service, and build sales from day one while ensuring smooth branch operations in a high-street environment.

The role offers a competitive salary with pension and company benefits, working Monday–Friday with Saturday on a rota, and the opportunity to grow with a large, established decorating materials supplier.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate management or supervisory experience in retail or similar role.

We are thrilled to announce that we are due to open a brand-new Brewers Decorator Centre which will be conveniently located in the West London area, near Chiswick and we have a very exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Retail Branch Manager, who is passionate about providing the highest levels of customer service to lead this new team and develop sales in our new store!

Managing a team of 4 you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly.

Once opened the store will stock an extensive product range which includes trade and designer paint brands such as Armstead, Crown, Dulux, Farrow & Ball, Little Green, Johnstones, Sadolin as well as our own brand, Albany. We also offer a full product range via our delivery service which runs from the branch. Store opening hours will be Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

To succeed in the role of Retail Branch Manager you will:

• Be able to demonstrate management or supervisory experience in a similar or relevant role
• Have experience of developing a team
• Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Be enthusiastic and proactive about selling and be able to inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer service

• Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial

• Previous experience in the Decorative Industry would be an advantage not essential, as full will training will be given to the right candidate
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to work as an individual at all times
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire
