Bettys Cafe Tearooms in Ilkley is seeking two part-time Retail Assistants to join our team. The role offers a minimum of 12 hours across two days with varied shifts, including weekends, and may include early mornings or late finishes.

You will deliver friendly customer service, learn about our products, and thrive in a supportive team. Prior customer-facing experience helps, but comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
• Desire to learn about our products and confidently share knowledge with customers.
• Good communication and team-ethic to deliver high quality service.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen in our Retail team and we are looking for two Retail Assistant to join us as part of our team at Bettys Cafe Tearooms in Ilkley

Working pattern

• This is a part time role working a minimum of 12 hours over two days.
• We have a variety of shift patterns with start and finish times staggered throughout the day which is dependent on the opening hours of the branch.
• These shifts may include some early mornings or later finishes.
• You will be required to work at least one day at the weekend every week.

About You

You will have a keen interest in customer service and the ability to work at pace. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work well with others as we rely on our strong team ethic to deliver the highest levels of quality and customer service. You will have the desire to learn all about our products and be able to confidently share your knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers. Previous experience working in a customer facing environment and knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
