Superdrug Stores plc in Newtownards is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Designate to travel between stores within the area, supporting where needed most. The role offers a 39-hour week and a base at Ards Shopping Centre, with a salary up to £31,600 per annum.

Location:Designate Role – willingto travel within 1 hour of your base store until assigned a permanent location. Base store address:Ards Shopping Centre, Newtownards, County Down BT23 4EU
Hours per Week:39 hours
Shift pattern:Full-time - flexible shift patterns across mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends, will be discussed further at interview.
Salary:Up to£31,600 per annum

The Role

As an Assistant Store Manager Designate,you’lltravel between different stores in your area,supportingwhereyou’reneeded most.It’sa great wayto meet new teams, build your skills, and enjoy plenty of variety in your day. Day to dayyou’llwork alongside the store manager to:

• Recruit, inspire & motivate a passionate team to exceed targets.
• Drive sales through promotions, excellent merchandising, and stock control.
• Create a fun, engaging environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Ensure operational excellence, including audits, budgets, and stock management.

About you

• Bringing fresh ideas from yourpreviousexperience inretail management, ideally 1+ years
• Passion for customer service & sales.
• Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills.
• A results-driven mindset with a love for hitting targets.
• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers – with full training provided (Optional)
• This role involves travel across stores in the area; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
