Claridge’s, part of Maybourne Hotel Group in London, invites a Retail Assistant to join its luxury Retail team. You will guide guests through curated collections and deliver personal, discreet service.

Key duties include assisting guests, processing payments, unpacking shipments, advising on products, and maintaining stockroom accuracy. A team player with exceptional organisational skills will thrive in our fast-paced environment.

• Organise and maintain the stockroom for easy access and accurate inventory levels.
• Conduct monthly stock takes in the absence of the Retail Manager.

Working in our Retail department, you will be guiding guests through thoughtfully selected collections and curated treasures, while ensuring each interaction feels personal and effortlessly sophisticated. It is a role defined by grace, discretion, and the delight of creating stories of distinction through exceptional products and exquisitely tailored service.

As Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting guests and customers with their queries and processing payments.
• Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors.
• Providing shopping advice and recommendations, wrapping and presenting products for our guests and customers.
• Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional.
• Supporting the team, including the Retail Manager with opening and closing the Retail Shop, responding to emails and sending reports.
• Organising and maintaining the stockroom to ensure easy access and accurate inventory levels.
• Conducting monthly stock takes with the Retail Manager on in absence of the Retail Manager.
