Job summary

Claridge's in London is seeking an In Room Dining Coordinator to lead the In Room Dining team, presenting beautifully prepared dishes with grace and discretion, delivering the classic Claridge's experience in the privacy of guests' rooms.

You will support the In Room Dining Manager, take orders, upsell to maximise revenue, identify training needs, and ensure service is prompt, professional, and memorable in a five-star environment.

In Room Dining

Straight from the kitchen to the guest's door, our In Room Dining department ensure our guests enjoy the classic Claridge's experience in the privacy and comfort of their room. You will be presenting beautifully prepared dishes with grace, precision and discretion. Working within the In Room Dining department, you will have the chance to create memorable moments in the most intimate of settings.

As In Room Dining Coordinator you will be responsible for:

• Support the In Room Dining Manager and Assistant In Room Dining Manager in coordinating our In Room dining team of approximately 27.
• Provide a legendary service to our guests whilst taking their in-room dining orders.
• Respond to all calls on the telephone and take orders according to guest requirements and upsell where appropriate to maximise revenue.
• Identify training needs from guest comments and conduct training accordingly for team members.
• Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional, within our guests' rooms.
• Supporting all the team, including the Head Waiters and Waiters.
• Handling complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensuring that licensing laws and health and safety legislation are adhered to.

Successful candidates for our In Room Dining Coordinator opportunity will:

• Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge's and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
• Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests' needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories
• Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.

• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment with the most demanding guests.
