Job summary

South Coast Retail is seeking a part-time Retail & Post Office Assistant for our Bideford branch. You will handle Post Office transactions, bill payments and banking services, while delivering friendly, professional customer care.

Two years of retail or related experience is preferred, with DBS checks and weekend availability. Training will be provided and growth opportunities exist within our expanding network across the region.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has at least 2 years’ retail experience (Post Office experience is a bonus, but not essential)
Is enthusiastic, friendly, and a natural problem‑solver
Has excellent communication and numeracy skills
Physical fit enough to be able to lift and move parcels
Has the right to work in the UK
Is able to pass an enhanced DBS check
