Job summary

ibis Hotels in Edinburgh is seeking a friendly Restaurant Team Member to join our breakfast service and guest experience team.

You will ensure the breakfast area stays tidy, take beverage and food orders, deliver meals promptly and maintain hygiene and service standards in a fast-paced environment. Fluent English is essential and a passion for hospitality is a must.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and hospitality
• Sparkling upbeat personality able to build rapport quickly
• Fluent in English
• Great communication and customer relationship skills
• Team player who ensures guests leave satisfied

Responsibilities

• Ensure breakfast area is tidy and food replenishment at all times
• Serve drinks and take food orders through the POS system
• Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and presentation
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy per procedure manual
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service
• Take responsibility for designated section and station
• Any other reasonable requests from supervisor or hotel management
