Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant supervisor or head waiter/waitress in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence leading a shift and supporting junior team members.
• Strong customer service instincts and communication skills.
• Eye for detail and a cool head under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for food, drink and great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service: Take charge of your shift, ensuring the team delivers smooth, efficient and friendly service.
• Motivate the team: Support training and development of junior staff, helping to build confidence and keep standards high.
• Own the details: Oversee table settings, reservation management, opening/closing procedures, and stock control support.
• Support the guests: Be a point of contact for feedback, queries, and special requests with warmth and professionalism.
• Keep things moving: Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing and resolve issues.
