Job summary

Hotel Indigo K West Shepherd’s Bush in London is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead our Front of House team on the floor, ensuring smooth check-ins, warm welcomes, and standout service.

You’ll oversee the shift, coach receptionists, drive upselling and guest satisfaction, and keep accurate room allocations and billing. This on-site role requires flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 40-hour weekly rota.

Qualifications

• Front Office or Reception experience in a hotel.
• Supervisory or shift leader experience.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud or hotel systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities during busy shifts.
• Flexible working pattern including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and passion for great service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front of House during shifts, assisting guest enquiries with empathy.
• Ensure interactions reflect service culture and brand promises.
• Train, coach, and motivate Front Desk staff.
• Support upselling and drive daily revenue targets.
• Ensure accurate room allocations, billing, audits, and guest profiles.
• Coordinate handovers to incoming teams and departments.
• Be proactive during VIP arrivals and guest recovery.
