Job summary

Wyboston Lakes Resort – Drift Inn – Food & Beverage is seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee the Gravel Pit Café-Bar and support banqueting and duty shifts. You will ensure smooth service, manage day-to-day operations, and lead the front-of-house team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong customer service, rota planning, upselling, and teamwork. You will stay engaged with guests, maintain high standards, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive hospitality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of running a busy bar including rotas, F&B systems, beverage stock and ordering.
• Confidence in running busy shifts and managing loud atmosphere.
• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• Ability to upsell and motivate team members.
• Excellent communication to customers and team members.
• Ability to delegate tasks and supervise team members.
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis across seven days a week.
• Think on your feet, respond quickly and solve problems.
• Think of cost-effective new ideas and stay on trend.

About this role

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor. You will be working closely with the team to oversee the smooth day to day running of the department. Your key focus will be running our Gravel Pit Café-Bar and assisting the team with banqueting and duty management shifts.

The Gravel Pit Café-Bar offers a great range of smashed burgers, pizzas and wings, backed up with great hospitality from our team. A wide range of drinks are on offer, along with sky sports and plenty of gamification including shuffleboard, electronic darts, and PlayStation 5's.

If you want to work in a buzzing, upbeat and fast-paced atmosphere, this is the role for you!

What we’re looking for
