Job summary

Dobbies seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee restaurant operations in Milton Keynes, supporting the Restaurant Manager and ensuring a superb guest experience. You will lead a team, manage stock and budgets, and uphold health and safety standards across front-of-house and kitchen areas.

You will contribute to store events and seasonal fixtures, collaborating with central teams and the Garden Centre management to deliver a safe, successful, guest-focused operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a restaurant and front-of-house and kitchen operations.
• Proven track record of delivering great customer service and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fast-paced restaurant operation including kitchen and front of house.
• Lead an engaged team focused on delivering a great customer experience.
• Ensure health and safety compliance at all times.
• Effective stock management to minimise wastage and ensure kitchen has what it needs.
• Support delivery of in-store events and seasonal fixtures.
• Communicate with central support teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Garden Centre Management to deliver a safe, commercially successful store.
