Job summary

TAQUERIA LIMITED in London is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional guest experiences in TAQ, our revitalised Mexican dining concept.

You'll spend ~80% of your time on the floor during service, running daily briefings, training on service standards, and driving sales, with the remaining 20% on admin tasks and team meetings. A minimum of two years' managerial experience and a passion for hospitality are essential.

In March 2026, chefs Eduardo Yishima and Jackson Boxer joined forces to relaunch one of London's original Mexican restaurants. Formerly known as Taqueria, the restaurant has been reimagined as TAQ.

Originally opened on Westbourne Grove over 20 years ago, Taqueria was a pioneer of London's early Mexican dining scene. While it has remained a much-loved neighbourhood spot, London's taco culture has evolved dramatically in recent years. TAQ represents the next chapter.

Our Concept Is Simple

fresh, hot tortillas topped with high-quality grilled meats and vibrant salsas, served alongside cold beers and great-value margaritas.

Eduardo's menu celebrates Mexican classics, tacos, tostadas and quesadillas alongside inventive dishes that bring a fresh and modern perspective.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you'll report to our General Manager and Head of Operations, working closely with the Bar Manager, Events Manager, and Head Chef. You'll be joining a passionate and well-balanced team of full- and part-time professionals, within a supportive and dynamic work culture.

This is a hands‑on leadership role—approximately 80% of your time will be spent on the floor during service, leading the front‑of‑house team and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You'll run daily briefings, the role also require to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, lead training on service standards, and play a key role in driving sales and fostering team morale. The remaining 20% of your time will be focused on administrative responsibilities and team meetings, with one designated admin day per week.
