Job summary

Ennismore International Management Limited is seeking a Restaurant Host for Maison Estelle in Mayfair. You will create a warm, welcoming environment, build lasting relationships with members, manage reservations, and tailor VIP experiences to ensure every guest feels at home.

Typical duties include handling inquiries, assisting with the member journey, and collaborating with management to improve service quality and efficiency within a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous host experience in a busy, high-volume hospitality operation.
• Proficient with MS Office, SevenRooms and CRM systems.
• Ability to plan and work unsupervised.
• Excellent attention to detail and time-management.
• Outstanding communication and English language skills.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

• Answer phone calls, take reservations and follow up promptly.
• Be aware of VIP members and tailor experiences accordingly.

• Own the end-to-end member journey to feel hosted at home.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The key responsibilities as the Restaurant Hostwill include but are not limited to:

• Creating a warm, welcoming and lasting impression for our members.
• Striving to build genuine relationships with all members.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions or queries members may have and ensure all follow up is carried out promptly.
• Being aware of all VIP members and their guests visiting us and ensure their experience is tailored appropriately and inform restaurant management of their arrival.
• Anticipating to members needs and provide them with a personalised experience.
• Feeling empowered to make a decision that will enhance the member experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
• Ensuring any issues that may arise is dealt with immediately and to conclusion, logged accurately and promptly followed up.
• Taking responsibility for the end-to-end member journey ensuring every member feels like they are in a hosted home.
• Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, cost reductions and to improve our member experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous hostexperience in a busy and high-volume hospitality operation.
• Computer literate (MS Office, SevenRooms, CRM systems)
• Planning ability; able to work unsupervised.
• Attention to detail, able to identify mistakes and request clarification.
• Excellent time-management skills; comfortable prioritising what is important during busy periods.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management, and members.
• Strong command of English.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
