Job summary

Zizzi in Norwich is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the floor and support the GM during high-volume periods. You will mentor the front of house team, ensure exceptional service, and uphold food and service standards to keep the brand strong.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on guest experience, staff development, and achieving performance goals while delivering a memorable dining journey for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, or Shift Leader in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Examples of coaching teams to create unforgettable guest experiences.
• An obsession for maintaining high brand standards.
• Examples of delivering business growth and meeting KPIs.
• A strong results-focused mindset with a keen interest in business results.

Responsibilities

• Step up as the manager in charge in the GM’s absence, running seamless shifts and bringing our brand values to life.
• Live and breathe the customer journey, coaching your front of house team to deliver standout, 'feel-good' hospitality every day.
• Support team development by giving constructive feedback, building confidence, and keeping team spirit high.
• Take full ownership of the restaurant's 'curb appeal', keeping standards and safety spot on.
• Work with the GM to monitor performance, manage the financials, and track service metrics to be 'better than yesterday'.
