Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is recruiting a Support Worker at Carlton Drive Short Breaks in Wigston to provide person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and sensory impairments. The role is 30 hours per week with flexi rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, including alternative methods (e.g., Makaton).
• Ability to move and handle service users with equipment.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workloads.
• Willingness to work weekends/bank holidays and 24/7 rota.
• No prior care experience required; training provided.
