Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a proactive Respiratory Service Coordinator to join the RRCV Clinical Management Team in Respiratory. You will support the Outpatients Booking Team, undertake RTT validation, and provide cross-cover for Long Covid and Pleural/Bronchoscopy services.

The role involves coordinating clinics, maintaining patient records, and delivering high-quality patient pathways in a fast-paced NHS environment within Leicester.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and organised individual.
• Experience supporting outpatient booking teams.
• Ability to manage RTT/18 weeks targets.
• Capable of cross-covering related clinic coordination roles.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and provide cross-cover support to respiratory specialised clinics (Long Covid, Pleural/Bronchoscopy).
• Manage patients and professionals through defined pathways to ensure timely appointments.
• Provide guidance to patients and carers, delivering RTT compliant patient pathways.
• Prospectively manage clinic slots and templates to maximise efficiency and clinic utilisation.
