Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Outpatient Clinic Coordinator to join the team at Bristol Royal Infirmary. You will coordinate referrals, manage appointments, and act as a key contact for patients and staff within the Respiratory department.

The role emphasizes timely patient access, effective communication, and maintaining high standards of care in a busy NHS outpatient setting. Experience in clerical/administrative tasks and NHS processes is valued.

Formación

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience
• Clerical/administrative experience, including filing and/or reception.

Responsabilidades

• Triaging referrals and liaising with clinical staff.
• Manage patient communications via telephone and Trust systems to create letters, emails and text reminders.
• Act as a point of contact for queries from clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams across the Trust by phone and email.
• Escalate patient queries, capacity problems and general issues to line manager or clinical staff.
• Communicate changes to clinics and appointments to patients, often at short notice.
• Provide a caring and professional approach towards patients, relatives and carers.
