Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Stafford is seeking a Resource Planning Manager to turn forecasts into actionable staffing. You will lead the on-site planning team, drive mid- and short-term labour plans, and ensure operations stay aligned with forecasted volumes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong data discipline, and experience with Kronos and Excel. Travel between Retail sites is expected, with a 37.5 hour week and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coordinating a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong background in workforce planning and labour coordination.
• Proven ability to manage data accuracy and reporting.
• Experience with agency labour models and recruitment alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the on-site resource planning team with direction and priorities.
• Participate in daily ASH reviews to optimize labour deployment across departments.
• Respond to real-time changes by reallocating labour to meet workload demands.
• Liaise with agency partners to secure shift coverage and headcount alignment.
• Maintain workforce data including agency headcount, Kronos inputs, and shift splits.
• Lead weekly mid-term and short-term planning discussions aligning forecasted volumes with labour.
