Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Birmingham is seeking a Resource Planner on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment (Full-Time). The role involves close collaboration with JLR and DHL stakeholders to ensure a best-in-class supply chain, with shift patterns from 12pm to 8pm or 7am to 3pm.

You will analyse data to forecast future resource needs, allocate core fleet and drivers (including agency drivers and subcontractors), and conduct daily data checks to keep plans resourced efficiently while controlling

Qualifications

• Previous planning experience.
• Excel skills and knowledge.
• Freight knowledge.
• Experience using OTM.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with JLR and DHL to deliver best-in-class supply chain solutions.

We're now looking for a Resource Planner

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Work closely with stakeholders within both JLR & DHL to ensure that the Resource/Freight team provides the customer with a best in class supply chain solution.
• Data analysis to forecast future Resource requirements using future op-strat volumes & historical data for trend analysis.
• Resource allocation of core fleet, core drivers, agency drivers, sub-contractors ensuring optimal utilisation of all core fleet & cost base.
• Relationship management with 3rd party agencies & external sub-contractors to support Resource requirements
• Data integrity checks on a daily basis to ensure freight plan is resourced correctly, efficiently & optimal cost without putting the operation at risk.
