Job summary

DHL Supply Chain, Rugby, is seeking a Planning First Line Manager to lead the UK Inbound operation's Planning team, ensuring timely collections with vendors.

You will join a world-leading logistics company and shape processes, develop people, and deliver cost savings across inbound and outbound flows while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience with Transport and route planning.
• Previous team supervisor/management experience.
• Experience using the Paragon Planning tool is desirable.
• Strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
• You're a natural leader with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planning team and develop people and processes across the account areas.
• Streamline Processes: Lead and support the Vendor Comunication team to ensure collections are agreed and planned for the following day.
• Bring together the Inbound and Outbound operations to create synergies and cost savings.
• Monitor Performance: Track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed our goals.
• Foster Collaboration: Build a strong team culture that values communication, accountability and teamwork.
• To ensure strong and effective relationships are mainted with both customer and account team.
