Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Birmingham is seeking a Resource Planner on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment (Full-Time). The role involves close collaboration with JLR and DHL stakeholders to ensure a best-in-class supply chain, with shift patterns from 12pm to 8pm or 7am to 3pm.

You will analyse data to forecast future resource needs, allocate core fleet and drivers (including agency drivers and subcontractors), and conduct daily data checks to keep plans resourced efficiently while controlling

Qualifications

• Previous planning experience.
• Excel skills and knowledge.
• Freight knowledge.
• Experience using OTM.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with JLR and DHL to deliver best-in-class supply chain solutions.
• Forecast resource needs from future op-strat volumes and historical data.
• Allocate core fleet, drivers and subcontractors for optimal utilisation and cost.
• Ensure data integrity daily so freight plans are correctly resourced and efficient.
