Job summary

HSO is a leading global Microsoft partner specialising in business transformation powered by the Microsoft Cloud. As a Resource Coordinator, you will help allocate colleagues across customer projects and service lines, working closely with the Resource Manager, Project Directors, Project Managers and Team Heads.

This highly collaborative role requires strong organisation and clear communication to ensure projects have the right skills and capacity at the right time, while supporting recruitment

Qualifications

• Experience in resource coordination, workforce planning, project coordination, operations or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Resource Manager with allocation of colleagues across projects and service lines.
• Help ensure project teams are resourced to begin work at the agreed time.
• Identify resourcing gaps, risks or conflicts and raise promptly with stakeholders.
• Work with Project Managers to understand and respond to changes in resource requirements.
• Maintain accurate information on colleagues’ skills, experience and availability.
• Update resource information to reflect new starters and leavers.
• Review weekly forecasts to ensure resource demand is recorded accurately.
• Monitor utilisation and flag overallocated/underutilised resources.
• Support reporting on capacity, demand, availability and utilisation for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to forecasting and demand-planning using systems like Dynamics 365 Project Ops.
• Identify suitable people for projects balancing skills, availability and development needs.
• Minimise unnecessary travel when assigning projects.
• Communicate current and anticipated hiring priorities with recruitment.
