Job summary

Engage Education in Manchester City Centre is seeking an Account Manager / Recruitment Resourcer to join our education recruitment team. You will work closely with schools and candidates to understand staffing needs and deliver the right people at the right time.

You will recruit teachers and education support staff, build strong relationships, manage candidate pipelines, interview and screen applicants, and keep lines of communication open with schools.

Qualifications

• Must have proven recruitment experience.
• Ability to build relationships with people and clients.
• Ability to qualify a vacancy and understand client needs.
• Able to manage multiple vacancies and candidates effectively.
• Commercial awareness and focus on filling roles.
• Strong team collaboration and proactive approach.
• Experience in education, social care, healthcare, or fast-paced recruitment is desirable.

Salary: £25,500 - £30,000 (depending on recruitment experience) + bonus

Our Manchester team is an experienced, established team, and we're looking for someone to join us who can make an immediate impact.

The key difference? You won't be expected to spend your day cold calling schools or chasing new business. Our experienced team takes care of winning and developing the business.

Your role is to recruit great candidates, look after our existing schools and build strong relationships with the people you work with.

The Role

As an Account Manager / Recruitment Resourcer, you'll become a key part of the Manchester team.

You’ll work closely with our schools and candidates, making sure we understand what they need and delivering the right people at the right time.

• Recruiting teachers and education support staff for our schools /Building strong relationships with candidates and keeping them engaged
• Speaking to schools regularly to understand their staffing requirements
• Taking vacancies and understanding exactly what the school is looking / Matching candidates to the right roles and schools
• Managing candidate pipelines and keeping our database up to date
• Interviewing and screening candidates
• Keeping in regular contact with candidates once they are working
• Working closely with the wider team to share candidates, information and opportunities

You won't be responsible for cold business development or generating your own new school leads.

You'll be working with schools that the team has already developed relationships with, allowing you to focus on what great recruiters do best: finding the right people and delivering an excellent service.

Who are we looking for?

We're particularly interested in hearing from experienced recruiters who are looking for a different type of recruitment role.

You might currently be working in:

• Education recruitment
• Social care recruitment
• Healthcare recruitment
• Any other fast-paced recruitment environment

You don't necessarily need education recruitment experience.

What matters more is that you:

• Have previous recruitment experience
• Enjoy speaking to and building relationships with people / Are confident dealing with clients and candidates
• Know how to qualify a vacancy and understand what a client really needs
• Are organised and able to manage multiple vacancies and candidates
• Are commercially aware and understand the importance of filling vacancies
• Work well as part of a team
• Are proactive and don't need to be chased
