Job summary

Forbes of Kingennie in Angus near Dundee is seeking a Resort Cleaner to join our Front of House team. You will maintain cleanliness across bar, restaurant, events spaces, washrooms and reception, delivering high standards of service to guests.

The role requires previous cleaning experience, reliability and good organisation. We offer staff meals, free beverages on shift, staff discounts and access to fishing opportunities in our resort.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a resort or hospitality setting is desirable.
• Proactive and reliable with good attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all main resort areas including bar, restaurant, public spaces, washrooms and reception.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping and waste disposal.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, report replenishment needs and store safely.
• Support deep cleaning tasks and follow the Resort Cleaning rota.
• Foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues to support great customer service.
• Respond to cleaning issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Follow health and safety procedures and escalate hazards or maintenance issues.
• Be flexible in assisting other departments when required.

Your Role

• As Resort Cleaner, you’ll support the Front of House Team in daily cleaning operations across all main resort areas including bar, restaurant, events halls, washrooms, public stairways and reception building to high standard.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all main resort areas including bar, restaurant, public spaces and washrooms.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping and waste disposal.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring safe storage and reporting replenishment needs.
• Support deep cleaning tasks and follow the Resort Cleaning Rota as directed.
• Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues to support great customer service.
• Respond to cleaning issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, reporting hazards or maintenance issues.
• Be flexible in assisting other departments when required.
